December Tip of the Month

TipOfTheMonthThe holidays are over and it’s time to take down the lights. But how do you store those long strands of bulbs without ending up with a tangled ball that’s impossible to unravel next winter? If you’re like most people, your answer is to pack them away as quick as you can and worry about the tangled mess next year. Hold up! Before you put off the mess from today to be untangled next year, grab some of those cardboard shipping boxes you have lying around from all those holiday deliveries. Cut them into pieces sized just smaller than your storage containers and wrap your light cords around them. Voila! No more tangled cords. Everything will stay tidy and organized so that you can save yourself the unpleasant job of separating tangled light strands next year.
