Get ready to read, because our super awesome Sierra Buy One Get One Free Scholastic book fair is next week! We are looking for a number of enthusiastic volunteers who are willing to help us get our kids enthused about reading! This is one of our most enjoyable events to volunteer for, so don’t delay in sending an email to Nicole Evans at evansinv2@earthlink.net to get in on the action! It’s indoors, air conditioned, and shifts are only 30 minutes long – plenty of time for you to help and then shop the book fair yourself! Come on, like you’re not gonna at least wanna look! 🙂 Oh, and here are the hours of the book fair.
- Monday, May 14th: Set up tentative time 11:00 to 1:00
- Tuesday, May 15th: 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 (during lunches), 2:15 to 3:00, and 4:00 – 6:00 pm
- Wednesday, May 16th: 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 (during lunches)
- Thursday, May 17th: 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 (during lunches) and 2:15 to 3:00 p.m.
- Friday, May 18th: 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 (during lunches) and 2:15 to 3:00, then tear down
In addition to the normal book fair hours, we will need some help to set up on Monday, May 14th and tear down on Friday, May 18th after 3:00. Please let us know what day and what times you are available. If you are available for more than one day or time please let us know that too!
One last note: If anyone has any Hawaiian theme decorations that we can borrow for the event that would be great!
